Teaching Philosophy
As a teacher, my goal is to create a learning environment for students, so they are able to learn no matter their learning style. I will do this by make all needs of students valuable when I am planning my lessons. I want students to be as excited to learn as I am to teach.
Student safety in my classroom will be my number one priority. As soon as each and every student enters into my classroom, they will feel welcome, included, and part of the community. A safe learning environment is one that all students are able to benefit from.
I want to teach students to critically think and be curious to learn new things. Student learning and success is a priority and I will work towards every student believing they are confident in the classroom.
“Students don’t care a bit about what you teach, until you care a bit about them.” Relationships are critical in a successful classroom community. I will make it a priority to put in an effort to talk and have a conversation with each and every student throughout the day.
I will be a lifelong learner, a role model, dedicated, patient, and have a passion for this career.
